Right Now Your Customers Need You To Be Human

Almost every manufacturing company these past five months has upped their marketing game by offering more webinars, creating instructional videos, participating in virtual trade shows, running Zoom sales presentation calls, running Google and Social Media ads, sending out lots of emails, and making plenty of phone calls. All to convince you, “they” have the “solution” you need now.

These marketing efforts do keep you top of mind of customers and have produced some decent results, but right now, many have only added to the noise of sell, sell, sell….

I do believe you need to think about what your vendors or partners have done that has positively impacted YOU in the past few months.

Right now we just need to be human.

I am going to go out on a limb and bet that it has been the simple phone call, Zoom meeting or kind gesture where you both just talk about life, the craziness of it all, and struggles to keep the lights on. It probably NOT been the call about their latest product or other solution.

If you are looking to make a real impact right now on your current and prospective customers… it is time to be human. Listen to their stories, share yours, and hopefully you can laugh together too.
